"こんにちは", Konnichiwa, means "Hello" in Japanese.
On this blog, I endeavour to bring you interesting/obscure news and happenings which you'd never get to read about outside Japan. This blog is not about big breaking news. It is about small unnoticed articles in the local newspapers, which can sometimes tell you more about the Japanese way of life than those big neon lights.
According to a report released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs on 28th August, there are 1,980,200 foreigners residing in Japan. Tokyo has the highest number at 385,195 residents, 2.93% of the total population there.
