A 7yr old boy was told to get off the car, left alone in mountain area by his father, as his punishment for misbehaviour. The family of four was on their way back after a day of outing when the father, wanting to discipline his son, off-loaded his son along the road. According to the father, he drove away for about 500m, waited for a few minutes and drove back to the spot where he had left his son. But the boy was not there and had been missing since. A search is now underway for the boy.
