On this blog, I endeavour to bring you interesting/obscure news and happenings which you'd never get to read about outside Japan. This blog is not about big breaking news. It is about small unnoticed articles in the local newspapers, which can sometimes tell you more about the Japanese way of life than those big neon lights.
As of 15th September, there are 31,860,000people who are above 65years of age in Japan. This is 25% of the total population, which means 1 out of 4 persons is above 65 years old.
